Once again, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. May you always feel the empowering strength of His presence.
As we move into June of 2020, I have to admit that we are traveling in “No man’s land”, in “Uncharted waters”, and/or “Going where no man (or woman) has ever gone before”. I think that’s enough clichés. You get the idea. What I’m pondering on is “Ok, so what else is new?” You and I are constantly heading into “open terrain”. Got a new job? Lost a job? Retired from a paying job? Got a new preacher you barely knew anything about? Got married? Bought a house?
So, by now you know you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, and of course all that glitters is not gold. We may think others have it better than us,
but remember that the grass is always greener on the other side. There was crabgrass there too! We don’t know what the future holds, but
on the upside, ignorance is bliss! Forget the future. There is no time
like the present! You might think life is challenging, but don’t give
up the ship! Stop worrying and do something positive. You know
that actions speak louder than words. I could go on, but I think it’s
better to be safe than sorry, so I’ll put this to bed. I think I’m ending this in the nick of time, but only time will tell. I may have lost track of time, but you know I had to finish. It has to happen sooner or later. I guess I lost track of time. Know what I mean? So, what’s going to happen next? God only knows! Peace! Pastor Brian
